The problem is those people who do have questionable pieces usually don't want to talk about them lest they end up in the position the Swit family is in now or the as Fenton was with the Farouk 1933 double eagle. And when they DO show them to the experts they tend to swear them to secrecy as well because if they were to talk to openly or specifically it could lead the government agents back to the coins owners. The experts know this too and they don't want the scrutiny of the government coming down on them either. This is why reports that things like the 1964 D dollar do exist are basicly unconfirmed and second or third hand. If you are shown something like that a great way to throw it off of your self it to attribute the report as being told to you by an unnamed reliable person that you trust fully. And if those experts do talk it is usually privately and they usually request anonymity as well.
