There are 20 & 40 centimes that are large and hefty.
I do like these as well........ I have a couple to post.
I've seen some woodies I would love a woodie set.
I don't think there are others for this year of issue. The three KM#'s line up.
There are other coin with this design but different dates. And same date but different designs.
This is one of my favorite coins in my collection. I like big copper coins. I could not resist getting this one. The set is cool to have. Will you try for a complete "A" set.
I note your 4 centesimo is from the Heaton mint.
Looks like the 1 cent. I have is a variety? I notice the hand punched date and looks like a wink, with one eye closed. The Woodies are great too!
Hi never considered the mintmark yet, just a decent example. Your coin is a beauty. Love these big Coppers too!
Thanks Matt, great link. Have to find these other 2. Having fun with the short sets lately
Uruguay KM12 1869 Heaton 2 Centesimos
Uruguay KM20A 1943 So 2 Centesimos
I'm still organizing parts of my collection and will post more when I come across them.
Not quite 1930s but one of my all-time favorite coins here:
1945 Uruguay 2 Centesimos, KM# 20a, mintage 2,500,00, struck at Casa de Moneda de Chile.
That's a beauty!
