Upgrade candidate?

    If the photos are accurate, it's not even close to crossing in the same grade let alone upgrading. The coin looks smooth and dull. That does not equal MS-65.

    Sorry but I don't think it would upgrade if submitted to either NGC or PCGS. They tend to grade to their own higher standards. It might straight grade with ICG. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a single standard? Thanks for sharing.

    Hard to say by the pictures. It won't grade higher, but it could grade lower. Without seeing really good pictures that I can zoom in on PCGS or NGC may knock it down a grade. Not a bad looking coin. If I was interested in it, I would be pricing it at MS 63 money.
