Here it is a time issue to the detriment of the hobby and their product, overhead and success. The Mint may be able to produce a lot of coins and different products quickly but at what cost, for quality. This is what I fear we are seeing with the ASE, no Proofs because it takes too long to produce higher quality coins instead of cheaper bullion that can have spots and weak strikes... the Mint is profit greedy, especially this year. This is one reason I buy Proof coins and avoid UNCs and clad coinage. And it is the reason I was willing to try the 4 pc Lincoln Proof sets with 95% copper coins.
