I've really nothing more that needs explaining here. However, you choose to step into this like others have and have a debate with me, so be it. I have honestly read and only then questioned what I've seen posted in these threads by the member in question. How long someone has been active is not a qualifier for their righteousness either. I've asked for sources from the member in question, seen nothing to substantiate the figures offered for verification per my inquiries and yet repeatedly find this information directly word-for-word copied from readily available sources (see below) that most people here already subscribe to or can quickly resource for themselves. Now you and the others may not question nor have a problem with copying information and not citing those sources, but to me it's irresponsible and unethical in a sense nearing 'plagiarism'. It's a problem on the web, not just here. I have said my bit and have had to re-explain it to everyone running to the defense of this member thinking that I've been insensitive or mean, which is not my prerogative, since being contrary to what most people just accept as fact given these un-sourced statistics. I have no interest in hurting anyone's reputation nor in extending this line of divergent discourse to that of this long running thread. I question the authority and precision of the statistics presented and ocassionally that of it's intent when citing rising metal costs on upmarket days as well as trying to speculate/drive collectors towards what is/isn't going to have numismatic value by dropping unreasoned thoughts along with mintage figures. The intent, whatever it may be, remains unexplained, for this member seems incapable of addressing conversationally about the matter themselves and has a mob following devoted to deflecting any opposition. It's too bad as the member seems to have an interesting perspective or insight into these topics and the mob that's forming is further obscuring a fun topic.

I've subscribed read from these sources and others long before I'd read the threads on CT and will continue to do so, if those debating me haven't read these, I suggest you to them, sources:

U.S. Mint Coin Production

CoinNews.net

Bureau of Printing & Engraving

The Bullion Desk
