for the first time. the intrinsic value of jefferson nickel is more than presidential or sacagawea dollars. $0.0621 vs: $0.0615. krispy hoard a lot of this.
I collect any pre 1964 nickel I find in circulation. I also collect the 2005 bison nickel found in circulation.
i also collect pre 1964. remember 1971, 1965, 1960,61,62,63 abp $0.10 each. except 1964. of course pre 1959 is much better price. but mostly found from circulation. the condition is terrible. anyway those were still $0.10 each.
american eagle gold proof series up again. average buying price is $1,850.00 per ounce. retail price at $2,100.00 per ounce.
I personally like the design and find very very few of them in circulation and notice that when roll searching that I find a disproportionately small amount of them. I don't know of errors or any other reason than people think of them like the original buffalo nickels and hoard them because of their fame.
