I've personally gone by Red Book since before the inception of the ASE program. Just pointing out to the earlier request for mintage figures to compare what you read here and online to that of the established coin pubs. For that matter Red Book doesn't even have published figures yet for dates after 2005 ASEs.

That may be so that they updated figures as these things continue to change for some years, and it is hard to know for years after coins are minted what is an absolutely exact mintage, however the Mint didn't change Mint Marks nor did you on your list until I pointed this out.
My very first post to CT was to ask Elaine why her numbers for the 2007 Silver Proof sets didn't match the Red Book...BOY! I'll never make THAT mistake again! :rolling: (Elaine's numbers were right :thumb
of course the mint or any other mintage figures is only serve as a guide. and it is not accurate. and will never accurate. unless a company or an agency hire a person in charge who like to update and make it very accurate. like you for instant. again. if a company or agency have an accurate figures. are they willing to give you perfectly or accurately. some have even contract with other company to supply the figures. so to get an accurate figures. maybe we have to pay them. like buy a book and so forth. i knew the mint can not simply give us figures. because they only give it to some. and i knew one of them is numismatic news.
I think you are more suited to the job elaine. :hail: I'm not trying to take that away since you are so awesome and consistently available to report on them here. However, there are mistakes in what you posted and I think it's also necessary to disclaim such numbers to the thread now and then knowing there are variations that occur over time in the figures reports, especially to do so for some readers who may not do the leg work or question the differences. :thumb:
thanks krispy. i found out the mistakes. those mistakes (mint marks) were for the fractional AGE proof. when the mint updated them. i copied the year and mint mark wrongfully. the silver mint mark were erased. and fractional gold mint marks surfaced. thanks again krispy. maybe i owe you a lunch this time. anyway let's move to AGB proof. hopefully we can buy those on wednesday. but i am doubtful i can make a huge profit. i think a 15% to 25% range only.
I am hoping for the price to move down a notch. If not I will hold off again on AGB Pr. to see where things go. I think gold price will be affected by the jobs report this week and remain high. Just have to be patient. :smile

Elaine, do you happen to know the mintage of the 1998 silver matte finish Kennedy half dollar? As near as I can tell, it was only sold in a set with the RFK commemorative dollar...and I don't have any books that give the mintage. EDIT: I think I found it...62,350
