yes. i remembered before. the mint suspended my order. because too many orders come at this time that they have to temporary suspend those orders. and later reprocess it. and i got my order. this time i hope it will be the same. i find it out tonight. i will let you know.
o.k. my friends call me. those 4 pc were in process and backordered. mine still on hold and backordered. can you believe that?. i ordered earlier than them.
what nice things do you have to do for your friends that help you with these orders? they must hate sitting through the ordering process if they are not used to the Mint process.
i told them before how to order from the mint. whenever i get new info. i tell them. they ordered plenty before. they like gold only. so this one they help me.
Cool, that works well for you, these set might re-sell well, you could end up with more gold than your friends if successful! :hail:
the mint did not sell out the lincoln 5 pc chronicle proof set. it is 7 hour and a quarter now. the mint website still shown available for shipment 10/30/09. in order to have all five coins. buy a lincoln silver proof or maybe you already have it. and a set of four lincoln proof cent at $7.95/set. crispy. what is the number of record reply on a single day for a person?. is it 200. i have no idea.
the mint change the available date to 11/13/09. still not sell out as of this writing. not so hot i think.
Check back tommorow folks. The mint is known for accepting orders way over the limit and then canceling them......
Wow, surprized by this, might not last till the morning... I bet a lot of people will try to do this and others will sell their Chronicles coins for grading, then sell the packages, many sets may not be original, but assembled from the other coins. I ordered 5, household max, of the 4pc lincoln proofs. I have no idea but I'll try to challenge the number of posts! LOL!
I fully expect to see this happen or they up the limit next week and liquidate the rest of them. Be ready to pounce if the household limit increases.
Is this your estimate mintage? How do you get the extra 500 over 50,000? Seems like a the Mint only puts mintage limits on perfectly round numbers like 50,000.
krispy. this one is bullion or uncirculated. it's not proof. you have to buy it from dealers. the mint will still produce more. maybe 200,000 or more. since there will be no fractional. mintage: one ounce gold. 2006 - 337,012 2007 - 136,503 2008 - 189,500 2009 - 50,500 (not final)
