Hello. I have purchased this coin some time back and I can't tell what it is, where it's from. I may have seen it before but I just can't remember. There is no date and whatever details I type about this coin on Google I still can't find. Can anyone at all tell me what it even is? It's also rotated.
I would try here, but I do not not what kind it is ??? Link: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?ct=exonumia
It's not a coin.. A medallion or tag like the ones given to a person for coat checks. But it does look old. Worth? 2 or 3 for $1.00 at flea market bins.
With a triangle and 10 reminds me of an alcoholics anonymous token. Maybe 10 years sober like this one I found online?
A token, not a coin, but most likely a claim check token, not a trade token, so hard to trace. Good luck and let us know if you can pinpoint it.
I like @paddyman98 coat check proposal best. The 352 would match the # on a certain hanger that would make the coat or hat easy to find without any questions.
the triangle and 10 looks a lot like it could be an early alcoholics anonymous chip for 10 months. they are more elaborate now though. no idea what the significance of the 352 would be for it if it was. 352 would be the area code for Marion County FL, and the AA hotline for that area starts with those 3 digits..... It's all I got. a guess. Maybe 352 is just some number system so it remained anonymous but they could keep track?
I looked thru 1449 listings and pics for tokens that had only "10" on one side. There were all sorts of circles, wreaths, rays and other ornaments, as well as plain ones other than the 10. However, I did find one, only one, that had a 10 within a triangle that matched your token. Its other side however, had an incuse "LORGE" stamped into it. Unfortunately there was no real additional information with the listing for that token either. If anyone wishes to see the token I found, go to the tokencatalog.com site and look at TC-414743.
