It filled w/ thousands of pennies, and on this rainy day, I figured I&#039;d sort through them, see if I gathered something interesting over the years.</p><p><br /></p><p>THIS one, attached, jumped out at me.&nbsp; It&#039;s got a fairly clean strike on the obverse, but the reverse is totally blank, not even a silhouette nor severely worn down details, nothing at all, and the blank side feels very smooth.</p><p><br /></p><p>In the past, I&#039;ve seen off-struck coins and planchets blank on both sides, but I&#039;ve never seen something like this.&nbsp; So I&#039;m truly not sure if this is a legit minting error OR if it might be a coin that&#039;s been manipulated by a prior owner.</p><p><br /></p><p>The first two photos were taken outdoors w/ the camera flash off, the last two outdoors w/ the camera flash on.</p><p><br /></p><p>Any opinions are much appreciated.&nbsp; Also, it weighs in at 2.8 grams.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
