I have this unusual 1963 $2 star note. Was unable to look it up, database did not go back that far. The star is before the serial number. Anybody able to give me information on it? Thanks!

On star notes of United States Notes the star preceded the serial number. On Federal Reserve Notes the star followed the serial number. If that is what you are asking about.

A collectible, but with that graffiti on it, it is worth little over face, IMHO. Now, if it had numerous signatures of significance, it would be called a "snorter" and probably worth more, especially if you could vet the signatures.
