Fortunately I had the time to see the trigger and attend to it, but I can see some sellers not being able to provide personal attention. </p><p><br /></p><p>It&#039;s also important to remember that the case being opened is a really a preliminary warning / reminder, since there is up to 4 days or so once the case is first opened to pay which is adequate in most cases.&nbsp; Starting the case earlier allows the seller to have the FVF removed earlier.</p><p><br /></p><p>IMO, a lot of these Seller/Buyer misunderstandings can be erased if eBay required immediate payment for all auctions, with an option for sellers to accept delayed payment. </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>I can&#039;t speak for the poster you quoted, but of course it isn&#039;t a big deal to pay later that day, or even the next day, or beyond with proper communication (at least for me it is not). I believe he is referring to your attitude about the whole thing. If eBay purchases are really that far down on your priority list, it would be fair to find other avenues to make purchases.&nbsp; It is true, eBay does require more tracking and attention than your average shopping source.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
