Unknown Token - "10" inside triangle (uniface)

Any idea what this is? Approximately 17mm in diameter. Just has a 10 inside of a triangle.

I was wondering if it's a merchant token, hacienda token, tally counter, or something completely different (if anyone even recognizes it).

Hi George, that token is not one that I recall seeing before, and not much there for making an id. I don't think it would be considered a merchant token, and I don't recall seeing that design in any of my gaming counter books. I'm not sure what it may be.

 

Triangle and a 10 in the middle. I have no idea, but it could be a 10 year medal for an Alcoholics Anonymous member, 10 years sober. IDK

 

With the keyboard in the pictures, it makes a typewriter key come to mind.
