The obverse exhibits a bust of the emperor (bearded?) which appears to be laureate &amp; cuirassed. There appears to be a *(star device of 8 [points) in the field, below and right of the chin.</p><p><br /></p><p>The inscription has defeated my efforts to decipher it.
