Unknown Medieval coin

    I deal a lot with post medieval European coins, and cannot seem to identify this coin. It looks Bulgarian or Italian states style, but I am no expert. Let me know what you think. Hopefully y'all can help me find a solution.

    Could be a "Crusader States" coin.

    The Empire of Trebizond. Manuel I Comnenus, 1238 – 1263. Asper. St. Eugenius standing facing, holding long cross. Rev. Manuel standing facing, holding labarum and akakia, being crowned by manus Dei above r. Sear 2601.
