I just finished unpacking from my recent move today and found this French Jeton I acquired from a foreign coin box a few years ago any insight would be appreciated.
It appears to match this one. Here is the text from the French site comptoir des monnaies: Louis XIV, Chambre du Trésor Royal, Jeton, Feuardent 1898; Louis XIV, Chambre du Trésor Royal, Jeton, 25mm, Avers : LOVIS LE GRAND ROY DE FRANCE. Buste lauré et cuirassé à droite. Revers : VEHIT. NON. SERVAT. A l'exergue : AERARIVM. REGIVM. Un aqueduc. Feuardent 1898 (Coins>Tokens>Royal) It also lists the metal as copper and the weight as 4.40 gr. There is also a downloadable .pdf document at the top of the page with similar information. The piece sold, but the site does not say for how much. Prices for other varieties of this jeton vary greatly, but many decent examples hover between 10€ - 20€.
