unknown error?

    I have a 2000 Liberty dime that has a very faint extra Y after the word LIBERTY. I have searched and searched and cannot find anything on the this error coin. Is this a known error? How much would this coin be worth?

    It sounds as if you are describing "die deterioration doubling" which adds no extra value to any coin.

    Agreed, likely die deterioration but photos would help us know for sure.
