Anyone ever saw a coin like this? Is it worth anything?

Welcome Jon to Coin Talk. What does this register for a metal composition . Who said it was a coin. Unless it's ancient , I'm not sure , where did you get it . Need more info please .

On the "reverse" (2nd photo, the side with inscription), I think the top line says "JEREMY" and the second line starts out "PARK". So, not ancient, and I don't think it's a coin. Some sort of token or medal?

Looks like lead . Is it heavy ? A metal detector would help . Probably .. like @Parthicus said

My father found it and saved it...maybe it's is not a coin. We always assumed it was due to the size and shape.

That is Pareidolia at its best. I think the last two lines say something like package and laundry.
I am also in the token boat.

I'm not sure. He used to like to search old dump sites so probably found it on one of his expositions. I do have a metal detector I could try in it.

Welcome, have you tried cleaning off the dirt on the coins surface?

Based on what I see the inscription states

    Ieben
    Parxi
    Pa(?)k (?)
    Lon

But that's just my interpretation. Most likely an ancient token of some kind, maybe medieval. Hopefully someone can profile it better than me.

What is the weight and diameter?

If it registers low it could be anything from Lead to Nickel .

I've never tried to clean it. I was afraid of breaking or damaging it.

It's in a 30mm holder. I'm not sure of the weight

I can understand that, it looks very brittle.

It could of been some kind of seal stamp. If it's lead, but it has a Clay-like look ??

It looks like a piece of jewelry, like a medallion or something. I see a little tab where a chain would have passed through.

Seeing as we are all guessing, I'll guess a hand hammered piece. Yellow color, possibly gold. Maybe cast off brass piece. It's a toughie.

Welcome to CT @Jon1776. It is really difficult to tell what you have from just those photos. It does look fragile so it's a good thing you have it in a capsule to protect it. Maybe try posting it in the Ancients forum and see what they have to say. I personally can't make out what might be on the object, but these old eyes are fading fast. Good luck and keep us posted on what you find out.

I tend to think it is not a coin, I think the guess of some type of seal perhaps for wax is the best guess
