My particular favorite (and my United States "dream coin") is the <a href="https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1915-s-50-panama-pacific-octagonal/7452" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1915-s-50-panama-pacific-octagonal/7452" rel="nofollow">octagonal $50 gold piece</a>, but since I will never be able to afford one of those, I shall content myself with its little sister: the gold dollar. This design was produced by the sculptor </font></font><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Keck" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Keck" rel="nofollow"><font face="Georgia"><font size="5">Charles Keck</font></font></a><font face="Georgia"><font size="5">. It portrays the capped head of a Panama Canal worker, since the Exposition was a celebration of the opening of the Panama Canal.
