Near clearer photos. Without that I would guess, circulated, slanted 5 variety.
$20-$25 if it has not been cleaned.

Well here is the issue with cleaning. I am not saying you cleaned it.
It could have been cleaned (and probably was) 100 years before you got it.
If it was not a harsh cleaning, it would have retoned by now and be acceptable. If it was an improper cleaning, that makes the coin worth about $5. Now I am not saying it has been cleaned. I can't tell from the photo.
But routinely coins in old collections were cleaned before it was known to permanently damage the surface. People were proud of and wanted to display their shiny coins. So they cleaned them more than once.

Thank you very much for your knowledge. This was one of my mothers actual egg money coins from the 1950's. She used to put anything interesting into a box and they have been left but you are quite right it may well have been cleaned prior to the 1950's.

I like the coin, and new crisper photos will help.
It's not rare, but it is a cool coin.

It's a fairly wholesome looking (well-worn, but seemingly unmolested) 1856 large cent in the G4 grade.

As such, a $20 coin at retail pricing, per Numismedia.
