These were normal test/trial pieces which do not appear on production records because they were not made for distribution or sale. (They would probably be mentioned in Engraving Department records, but those are almost all missing.)</p><p><br /></p><p>Seventh – similar antiquated sandblast proof pieces were made of all commemoratives during Sinnock’s tenure, and analogous pieces were struck during the terms of Charles Barber (except Columbian and Isabella) and George Morgan (1921 and 1922 Peace dollar proofs and antiqued pieces).
