I have seen people shout at local dealers and claim they are ripping them off for the low price they are being offered.</p><p><br /></p><p>So to answer the question, &quot;does these coin sows help or harm coin collecting?&quot; I think they are giving coin collecting a black eye. I think that some of them go over the line with what they say on the air. They are not supposed to say that the buyer is making an &quot;investment&quot;, they are not supposed to say that the coins will &quot;appreciate&quot;, there is a list of terms that they are not permitted to use after the fiasco of trading modern coins as if they were stocks and bonds. Unfortunately, the majority of people I have personally observed trying to sell these coins to local dealers are people who can least afford to pay the prices TV coin shows charge.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
