uneven field. anything?

    I have found 5 more 2009 P dimes with the exact same area of the neck slightly lower than the rest of the field with the same type of mini ridge.

    I guess I'll go back to my original question....Is this anything? It seems like since I've found multiple ones that it may be something significant (but I'm a rookie) Should I get pics of all of them for comparison?

    It would not be unusual for a piece of contaminant to get stuck to the die and cause multiple imprints on the struck object. If you would post the other pictures it would be great.

    I'll do that tomorrrow.

    But, from what you are saying, probably just a common strike error of some kind, correct?
