I ask if I can take a couple of pic but he was totally against it...... but $1000 bills yalll!! Amazing!!

1934 1,000 bills, those were probably expected to be used to buy all the gold back.

I was unaware an uncut sheet of $1,000 notes existed in private hands.

The $1k sheet is likely $100k easily. If you take a photo of it, he might have to kill you.

$1000 notes at a time when people were losing farms because they did not have two nickels they could rub together. And to think, middle of the Depression, and these were not even spent...

I'm looking in my 2016 book a $1000.00 1828 Gold note was listed in retail as ms63 as $45,000.00. In Bank Note Reporter of May 2018 Gold 1928 = $53.,000.00 in Cu retail. Federal Reserve Notes of 1928 to 1934C have retail range in 63 of $3500.00 to $39,000.00++

I agree. Who would rake a total stranger down to his basement and show him what would amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars of easily salable items that could be easily stolen? Something ain't right. Was Morgan Fairchild involved?

If you get another chance to view the sheet, count the notes. I believe it should be a 12-subject sheet.

I honestly cannot tell if I like or hate the reverse. I'm a big fan of the old horse blanket bills. I'm not a bill collector though, so maybe I'm unfairly biased.

Not a stranger.. been doing work for him for a while. I installed a heated drive way that 320’ long! 200 amp electrical service just for the drive way!!! ($27k in electrical only) In AR!! We don’t even hardly get snow here. The guy has money to blow! Wish I was doing that good!! And it wasn’t in his basement. He has in that same room all kinds of sport Memorabilia in glass cases everything from golf to football, signed photo. Very cool if you a sports junkie!! Sorry for no pic but I was just respecting what he ask. I’ll ask again if I can get a couple of shots....
