The mint just sent out emails touting the final annual set to be released this year. But wait, there's a catch. They've eliminated the free premium nickel! here's what they say ... "Note: Due to the effects of COVID-19 at our manufacturing facilities, this year’s set has a limited production quantity of 213,000. For the same reason, there will be no free premium nickel accompanying this set. Please be sure to order early, as supplies are limited – we have 137,000 fewer than last year."
    Bummer!

My order for two of these sets is processing, so that leaves 212,998 for everyone else. The smallest production number in my lifetime, yet demand has been declining for many years.

Does that mean that the only coins not to have the nickel would be the uncirculated? I think all I have is Proof and Silver Proof.

That's my understanding, the W nickel.

No matter, I have found all the coins online I need and with free shipping for the same or less in price. I could care less if these end up selling on EBAY for a thousand dollars each. The Mint can kiss my toilet seat.

Subtract another set from the number available. It took about one minute to order.

2020 Proof sets came with a bonus proof W nickel.
2020 Silver proof sets came with a bonus reverse proof W nickel.
2020 Uncirculated sets were supposed to come with a bonus BU W nickel.

Cancelled! No BU W nickels for YOU! :)

No W Nickel in it but I'll be receiving a set, so I've less. I couldn't help but notice that just about every bill from the BEP was unavailable or out of stock.

The Mint set a limit based on a simple projection done by any other business. Better late than never that someone figured it out. Yet they'll put out a false statement to cover their incompetent....... 213,000- not a number pulled from thin air. But I ordered one anyhow.

Hi guys, quick question, I order this Mint set on the release day, since 12/4 it has shown it was shipped, yet USPS tracking shows "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item" 6 days later still.

Curious if anyone has gotten their sets already, or if this is happening to anyone else or if it's a fluke or something.

I've been in pre-shipment since 12/4 too. No rush for me.

Ok, I'm not alone. That's good to hear, bad for us though. I'm not in a hurry, BUT, I also don't like paying for something and hanging in limbo for a week either.
