Unbelievable Presentation trying to sell this Fake!

    This one takes the cake IMO for creativity; counterfeit 1803 half cent based on the 1804 C-6:

    I wonder if the seller knew that it was a counterfeit. I very seldom buy anything from ebay.

    The thing has a fin running around the edge on the reverse. That is not possible for a coin that is struck with no or an “open” collar.
