That should be a HUGE clue that the seller is clueless.

 

Hard to believe, really...but in today's world nothing is surprising or unbelievable...in this case from a blatantly fraudulent seller to a bunch of ignorant bidder-buyers...but to also include an enabling stage from which to operate.

 

I asked him to post a better picture so I could get a better feel for the quality of the "copy" strike below the chin.

I didn't even notice the word copy,if I remember correctly its technically not a violation since the coin is marked.Really the bidders are at fault despite sellers deceptive description but wouldn't surprise me if ebay took it down .

Nope, eBay changed their policy years ago to ban even coins with the COPY stamp. It's not enforced very consistently, but the rule is there.

 

There's 6 total bidders who have placed bids multiple times! So these bidders were duped more than once on an obvious fake, beyond obvious! Amazing and pathetic!
