Somebody actually did a study on it once - the story was reported in Coin World a few years ago. The bottom line is that while there is no way to prove just how far off the pop numbers actually are - the generally accepted percentage is 20% - plus or minus 5%.
Thanks for all the advise on how to break these open. I did not ask how in my original post but I did gleen some info with the replies. I used Bonediggers method and wrapped them with a towel and whacked them with a hammer (Quick and effecient). I then used Just Carl system and stuck the labels on the inside cover of the album. Thanks to all. Knowledge sharing is what I love about this site.
