Thanks for taking the time to read this post , as you'll see in the pictures the mint mark and the date look "off", it looks like there is either 2 or possibly an 3 under the 4 in 1964 and this might possibly be an RPM as well... Would genuinely like some info into what you all are seeing when you look at this penny and should send it off to get attributed
If I can't see it with the naked eye, it ain't happening......with that much magnification, I ain't seein' it either. What the devil am I looking for?
We all need help at times. It's okay. Nothing special here. Corrosion on the number "4". No "true doubling". BTW: Trust your loop first before resorting to a microscope which will make you see just about anything. Just my opinion. Sal.
Danny, …you would just be wasting time and money. There is only circulation wear and corrosion on this coin and it is only worth face value. Look: Not for the first time being said, you match your finds at Wexler and VV. After 60 years, all the varieties have been identified for 1964 Lincoln Memorial cents so if it isn’t listed on one of these 2 sites it is more than 99% probable it isn’t a known variety. Could it be a discovery coin? Not likely…imo…Spark
I took this picture on a cellphone through a 10x loupe. Now Someone made a microscope attachment for a cellphone, I hear it's actually pretty good.
It is... Found drywashing in Arizona. Now where it came from is what I'd like to see... it's one of two washes and one you have to be part billygoat to investigate... I'm betting on that one but haven't found another sample yet.
I've had several. The worst part is skipping meals the day before. I wake up afterward, eat a big meal, and go on about my life. The first couple of times, they snipped out a number of things that could have become problems later. If I hadn't had it done, I might well be dealing with cancer at this point. As it is, I'm clean, and get to wait a few extra years before doing the next one. Please, PLEASE reconsider.
