There is a variety that exist on the 1869 Series that bears a watermark of USUSUS like that of the 4th issue of fractional currency. This note is assigned the Fr# of 101 and is noted as design #16b which is denoted via the Large Brown Seal of the Dept of Treasury. There were 3 signature changes on this design; Fr#100 Scofield/Gilfillian Fr#101 Bruce/Gilfillian Fr#102 Bruce/Wyman The Vignetts feature Daniel Webster U.S. Congressman and Senator, Secrtary of State in 1841 and from 1850-1852.
