Can there not be a clear separation in the lettering of a coin making it a doubled die and also hub doubling. If so is it still worthless. This quarter for example may be hub doubling but I seem to see doubled die effect also. Educate me

Pennies? That's where my problems started too! But I have now obtained an advanced degree in obtuse unlearned posts and have graduated to quarters

The right photo is out of focus badly and I'm not seeing anything that stands out in the left photo

Do you see any doubling of the lettering or image of the coin I reposted not related to hub doubling

Okay, well, I was mainly looking at the R in liberty but you see it different

If you want to see some wore out coinage look at the stuff they are fawning over from past centuries

To ask you directly. Do you equate the aforementioned R in liberty that I see as being wore out or hub doubling? To ask you directly also. Do you equate the lettering in the A in States due to being wore out or bad lighting or what?
When you say post mint damage are you also speaking to the A in States on the reverse?

Also to ask you directly. Do you know this year coin is listed in variety vista as having mint damage?

Also to ask you directly Mr Silverpop are you going to stick with "wore out and post mint damage' on every question I have posed to you? Because I have thrown out coins with some of the features I'm asking about that you said the same thing

This is a photo of the same coin. Is it post mint damage on the R or just wear? IMG_20201230_190848.jpg

In my opinion, it appears to be an example of Die Deterioration Doubling. This occurs near the perimeter after the dies have collided maybe 1/2 or 1million times. The dies spread towards the edge ever so minutely over time, but it is a mechanical physical event , not a mint error. Many copies are available. Thus little or no extra value. The correct thing seems to be "damaged" cents, IMO. The stress can sometimes damage

added after the lettering. I think it is damage myself. Jim
