But within just minutes of adding to it, I hear 2 more replies -how cool! jmon, I agree with you, I'd like to be able to page through a type set and have it always and forever remain together versus using individual holders that would likely be separated at some point. Good luck on replacing those air-filled holes I also very much agree with bobbeth87 on the selection of the 7070 album. I too was looking for a slot for 40% silver Kennedy's and couldn't find one. Maybe the composition change from 90% to 40% was not enough to constitute a different type. I believe there IS only one 20 cent piece however. I also notice that sometimes certain types seem to be omitted due to their scarcity or value. For example there looks to be 3 more varieties of Quarter Dollars before the first slot for the Capped Bust Quarter of 1831. I would think the preceding variety 1 (large diameter) would obtainable for under $100 in Good condition but your odds would definitely diminish for the next 2 older types. Perhaps there is a cutoff based on mintage?

One thing I don't necessarily like about the the Dansco 7070 album is that all the pages are made to accept the same thickness of coins. Quarters, Halves and Dollars fit nicely but the smaller coins like dimes and half dimes can look kind of wedged and cockeyed on display. I'm pushing my coins in using a plastic fork versus my finger to avoid any extra oil & tarnish but it's hard to get those smaller coins situated properly.

Regardless, I do like the album and am having lots of fun filling it.
