The Mint’s former prices for gold coins were held in effect as long as gold stayed between $1,050.00 and $1,099.99 per ounce. The current prices will hold as long as the value of an ounce of gold dips no lower than $1,100 and jumps no higher than $1,149.99.</p><p><br /></p><p>The chart below includes prices for categories of gold collector coins on offer at the U.S. Mint.
