I noticed those grainy surfaces back when you posted that coin. I didnt think too hard about it though, ive never owned one and dont know much about them. I just went back and looked again. Yep, i vote the Pan Pac is the other fake. I see evidence of a cast counterfeit there
Not going to get into it with you, but Stonewall Jackson was a very religious man along with being one of the best tacticians that the South ever had.........if you keep things on those terms, and forget the rotten political correctness of present times, the coin can be appreciated for what it's worth............
I need one of those bloody things, but every one that I encounter is blasted 'way' out of my price range. Nice coin Blackberry. Who were you in the previous life? Login?
Finally got my war one's in today! And to top it all off I finally found a $1 WWII MS70 for the price I was actually wanting to pay. Guess that gives me an excuse for another post later on I am also pretty sure that the eagle on the $1 Korea is the best looking eagle designed.
The Pan-Pac half dollars were sold in little velvet lined boxes, which imparted a nice blue-rose toning to coins that were left inside them.
