Duke, the next show that you go to, pay attention for any UNC 1959 Frankies. First of all, I just don't see them like I used to years ago. I would find rolls of them. But now, I am lucky if I find one or two at a typical show. Out of these, typically if it isn't a crowd that I have already cherried - I may find one or two. At the Pittsburgh ANA show I found about a half dozen of these types but only walked away with two. I do not buy them for anything greater than $15. Just my general rule. After slabbing costs and what nots, I have about $50 into the coin. MS64FBL will bring in anywhere from $110 to $150 generally. THe MS65 are the hard ones to get. My first one just sold for $600! Personally I think it is worth it, not just because it is mine, but rather because these are hard to find in the higher grades and both NGC and PCGS has not graded one higher than 65. As I mentioned PCGS has been the only one, to my knowledge, that has certified one MS65FBL. I hope to have one soon for NGC. These are very easy to find and can be seen with the naked eye. These types of DDs tend to be more popular with collectors than the types that you need a 16X or 20X loupe to see the DD. Personally, I think this series/variety is a sleeper and are getting more recognizion each day. When I started collecting these, NGC only had one listed on there site. THe next 10 were mine. Now there are a few more. In fact, the picture on the NGC site that they use to illustrate the DDR is my coin. I wish they had my name attributed to it. Pretty neat stuff. Good luck looking. They are out there.
