So just wondering, how much is it worth and would the price increase by even just a little amount if it was at least a 1964?
Of course it was a silver coin it would be worth more, but I put this error in roughly the $300 range because of its condition.
In general, the same error on a gold or silver coin, or on a type coin like a bicentennial, a steel Cent, War nickel, Etc., sell for more than those on average types and average dates. Also for errors on a series that has been discontinued, like Buffalo nickels or Indian Head Cents, they tend to sell more than the same error on a modern coin. However, coins from the past few years can be worth a lot too because significant errors are so rare among modern coins now.
I don't believe this coin belongs to the original poster. It's somebody asking a question about a coin that's on eBay right now
