Two faced dime?

    A close inspection of the rim of the coin will tell the tale. The dime is silver. The cent is copper. Look for the area on the rim where the dissimilar metals meet and you will find a seam. If the craftsman was a good one, it may be a very fine seam, but it is there.

    What Randy said is correct Theresez13, and on your coin that seam is even visible in the pics you provided. A trace of the seam can even be seen on the dime side (about 1 o'clock) where a tiny miss-cut was made while cutting out the back side of the dime.
