Nothing else spectacular in the box but these two guys were a welcome sight!

COOL! Pretty good shape for as old as they are. Shame there are no initials on back!

You sure are lucky to have found those! I know frogs are considered lucky in some places, but I didn't know furryfrogs were! :hilarious:

(frogs are actually considered lucky in China, and a few other places as well)

I guess it was bound to happen eventually. This was box #713 searched haha. Plus who knows how many bags and loose rolls.

My best by far was my 72p DDO-001. I’ve found some really cool errors and other varieties also.

Well, I already knew about that one. Your profile pic. But that is pretty awesome that you found it. Found any key date wheats? Or even a 70 s small date? I swear, those are harder to find than an indian head cent...

Nope. No key dates or 70s small dates. More cool errors than anything else. Still looking for an 83 Ddr and an 84 Ddo.

Imagine all the ruckus back then about those 3 little tiny initials. Today, there are designers' initials on the obverse, reverse, here, there, and everywhere! LOL.

I often also wondered why the VDB was not centered between the two sheaves of wheat.
