    Got a deal on this one because of the staple scratch. I'm willing to live with that! And yes, it pained me to crack the slab...but it has a lovely home now in my type set book.

    Regarding my 1928 S above, I would like to note how excited I was to find an S Mint with a full date. Both conditions were very rare to find when I was collecting in the 50's.
