image.jpg Hello I have a 1957 silver penny that is the size of a dime, I’m trying to see of it’s a error coin or what. If anyone has any information it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a scale that measures grams?

So far, looks legit for a cent struck on a silver dime planchet.

No I do not, if I get one what weight should it be. And what else should I look for. Are they worth anything?

Around $600. But yours looks like it may have been improperly cleaned. If that's the case, around. $300.

It should weigh what a 90% silver dime weighs, which is very easy to look up.

Also, post better photos if you can, and crop them as well as center them

    Is the edge reeded?

It is looking good for a cent struck on a dime planchet.

The edge wouldn't be reeded if it was struck on a dime PLANCHET, it would be reeded if struck on a struck dime, but it shows no evidence of being on a struck dime.
