Well before I quit my Pattern Making job and started my own company I was at 27$ an hour - and that was in 1995! You? I was one of the 3% Pattern makers in the US that could build patterns within .007 tolerances - this was from wood, metals, or urethane's!!

People should never swat a hornets nest - Now I'm retired at 57 and have a shop in my back barn just to make a few thousand here and there when I think I wan't to buy something! Food is a great profession as I started out that way but woodworking, metalworking, and welding is the way to go in later life! Plus I hated having to put up with horribley obnoxious customers that piss me off by degrading their food quality - IF them damn customers are such food critics then have them go home and make it themselves to their liking!!

You have no idea how many share the same opinion as Jason. There is nothing wild about his opinion. If all you are reading is what has been posted on this site, you are missing the boat. It's not as simple as what folks here are thinking. Intent is only a tiny factor. It's just a matter of time before the courts get involved. It's coming.
Now is about the time that folks start with the name calling. Next Mr. Carr will join and stir the pot in order to sell more product. Same thing every time.

Really, I have an idea that many people couldn't give a chit less about Carr's coins. Many people have negative opinions. That's fine. But why even bother to respond negatively regarding a poster's acquisition implying that the coin is deceitful etc? It is a fantasy. None were ever struck in the mint.

And you are right, sometimes I do believe the foolish ones bringing the legality of these coins up ad nauseum only make more people buy these pieces due to the dustup about it.

No, the D is in pale imitation of the Denver mint. He is unwilling to sign his counterfeits.

Because it's illegal? Read the law. It's quite clear.

Honestly? The photo is severely underlit. You appear to be using two lights. I would recommend that you position the lights to maximize the dark spaces (such as at k3 and k9). Try using a higher exposure rate (what are you using - 1/60? Try upping that to 1/400). There are some overlit and some underlit areas. By evening these out, you'll get a clearer overall picture of the coin.

Here we go again. Is this thread 3 or 4 regarding Mr Carr and the 1964 Morgan? If it makes you feel any better @green18 I wont argue in this one, quite exhausting really.

It is a cool looking piece and I hope mine shows details of the host coin as well.

I won't debate this as I will not wreck Ken's thread, but do you seriously believe everything you read on the internet especially from someone who is trying to sell you something? If so, I have some ocean front property in Arizona that I would like to sell.
