Wikipedia says "Although troy ounces are still used to weigh gold, silver and gemstones, the troy pound is no longer used." ...except in eBay auctions for ONE POUND OF SILVER COINS, which tend to draw bids based on the spot price of 16 troy ounces of silver, instead of "90% of the spot price of 12 troy ounces, minus losses due to wear".
A slightlycloser approximation is 41/45. Multiply by 41 and divide by 45. Or to go from Troy to Avoirdupois, multiply by 45 and divide by 41.
