I love the allegorical design on the reverse, and when I saw this medal for the first time about 7 years ago, I place a bid of $250 in the eBay auction. I dropped my jaw when the final bid posted at $544. I put it on my Watch List and through 2006, two other specimens surfaced which also sold for $500+. I finally deleted it from my list about 2009 when no others had surfaced. Then, about 3 months ago, another surfaced with a BIN of $325 and I had to pass on it because of finances. Now, I see this listing which sold for $109 in March of this year. Amazing! I guess it&#039;s a good thing I passed on the other.
