The coin would become available during (and coinciding with) the Motion Picture Exposition in June, 1923.</font></p><p><font size="3">After getting the go ahead for the coin, the Director of the Mint, handed the project to Chester Beach. An idea found fertile ground in Beach's mind. The coin's obverse would feature the heads of Monroe and Adams, but the reverse would feature the Western Hemisphere in a novel way.
