I could use some assistance with figuring out what to do with this coin. Should I send it for grading. would it be worth getting graded. Things I see. 1. mint state grade maybe? 2. the reverse Pillars can be seen on the obverse under liberty and under Lincoln's chin. 3. the designer initial's doe not have the correct font. Thank you for your input.
Worth one cent no to getting it certified it has suffered from severe DDD note the ridge ring effects looks normal to me.
Not sure if it is worth getting slabbed. But it is pretty cool. The pillars on the obverse are from a die clash. No offence to potty dollar but he isn't correct in this case. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/Featured/1988RDV6.html
Really?hmm I would rather be wrong and learn something and not be completely confused i see it now wasn't even thinking of a clash.
DDD stands for Die Deterioration Doubling. Read about it on this site: https://doubleddie.com/144843.html
