    It’s not attributed as that on the label. It’s my one and only Trade Dollar, I’ll have to research that. I was not aware of the Micro S variation.

    That's the "Wide CC" variety. The exact same die was used on a few 1873, 1874, 1875 and 1876 Carson City trade dollars. The 1874 is generally thought to be the second scarcest of the 4-coin subset (the 1875 has only 3 known and is by far the rarest), although it may be on a par with the 1873. They are all scarce, with the 1876 the most common of the four.

    Yep, I have 2 of the 74s and one of the 76. still looking for a 73 and of course the elusive 75 ( probably more likely that I'll find a raw diamond in my driveway).

    Those are great coins and the 75 is perfect! What are there like 3 of them known?

    Yes, only 3 known. There are two XF details examples and mine, which is a VF30. There must be more out there, but not many...

    It's a reverse die where the c's in the mintmark are small and widely spaced, used from 1873 through 1876. as Mbogoman said:
