i wonder why they stamp the bills if it loweres the abp? that is just wired. thats just plain stupid.

most who do it don't know any better. There are a few... very few... who do know better, and are able to tell a note that has some value above face, and then dont stamp that note.

the rest .. just dont know any better

 

i thought that they stamped a few as soon as they came off the press. there has to be an easer way to let people know about wheresgeorge. and unfortonaly i dont know much about money. thats why im here.

who did you think 'stamped a few as soon as they came off the press'? The BEP? the BEP doesnt stamp the notes with anything beyond the original design. The folks who stamp the 'wheres george' all over the notes are just like you and me... well, not like me, i would never stamp a note like that .. but i think you get the point. They are just folks who get excited about seeing where the note goes after they spend it.
