The issue I have with ANACS are their grading standards. And the fact they are a lot more lenient with problem coins than NGC or PCGS.</p><p><br /></p><p>If authentication is really an issue for you then you shouldn&#039;t be buying raw coins, you should be buying slabbed coins. I mean why risk buying a coin if you are not sure it&#039;s genuine ? Especially knowing that you are going to have to spend even more money to get that assurance that it is genuine. And knowing that the coin is almost certainly going to be over-graded, and that the potential for the problem coin issue is still there. That just defies all logic to me.</p><p><br /></p><p>The one and only advantage that I could see ANACS ever having is the variety attribution thing. But even that is greatly outweighed by everything else. Of course, that&#039;s my opinion.
