    yeah...Ive been working on that one for hours. Too many coins in the middle east with similar writing. Rupees are the only coin Ive found with just writing on them..so far.

    Here are some more pics from 7f. Hope they help. I got some currency books today and have been working on the paper money only problem is the books are from 1986 but they still help. Thanks again for all the help.

    I think I found the smaller one I believe it is from Nepal but not sure which paisa it is. Im getting closer though.

    Looks like the front of a Paisa with the 2092 but the other side has has 5 symbols more like a 25 Paisa???

    what I could find out....the first coin is a paise from Nepal

    the date 2092 is actually 2012 but stands for 1955

    it is the size of a nickel, was used for 2 years

    worth...1.00 or under

    Hello twigg,
    the 2092 one is the same size as a US cent. Do some of the Piase have 5 symbols over the mountains like this coin? The coin book I have shows 4 symbols. Thanks again for the help.

    that second coin..grrrr
    I dont believe its from India or Persia. If you look near the top you see that small V shape. Coins from India and Persia have small dots in a flower shape. I will keep hunting though.

    Satootoko,
    I think That Twiggs is right I have been looking at Gurush coins and have found some that are very close.

    Hello Twiggs,
    If I am reading the link you had right its fine $120 F+ 240 VF 360 and VF+ 480. This is according to the values on the right side of the link.

    btw..to answer a question you asked before...no I have never researched coins before, not even my own. This site sparked my interest. :)

    Thanks TWIGGS here is another I recently purchased at a coin shop. The owner said he had no idea and said I could have it for .50 cents so I thought why not. I dont think it is much but I have not found any info yet on this one. It is about 1 & 3\16 inches wide.
