Total War: Rome II, Third Punic War Trailer

Some new game system is coming out from a bottom feeder company that lets you play all the Nintendo games and now GBA. Its will be reviled Sat.

Alot of tech sites talked about it. Frankly I never had good experience with these systems. Stuff like Game Genie never worked.

Rome total war has elephants, so this one should have them too I'm guessing

You can see them in the first trailer at 45 seconds in.

I can't wait to use them against those bloody Romans

And Can't wait to use those Romans against the Macedonians, Greeks and Gauls....

Can't wait to use those Carthaginians against the Egyptians...

Wrong Punic War

Hannibal (the Famous one, as many Carthaginians were named Hannibal) was the General in the Second Punic War, not the Third

 

I would rather use my NES, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Color, etc...

Both times my friends bought similar systems they broke within a week after the warranty wore off...

 

WC, sounds like fun, i have a hard time just turning the computer on, but in real life we chase down shoplifters, with knifes and guns, makes a interesting day...:dead-horse:

 

Shame on me for going by memory........ Which sometimes is lacking.

 

About FPSs, I like them, but only play them occasionally and I'm not hardcore about them like many gamers are.

 

Sounds like what they would do... Nice Howdah's on top of the elephants to shoot your arrows from...

And charging against both sides... talk about fielding a liability (I can't wait!)

Oh man, funny to find this thread here. I'm a huge fan of the Total War series (Rome, Medieval II, Empire, Napoleon, Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai - I've all played to death). Also a firm believer in their pedagogical value. I once won trivia night at a local bar thanks to the ancient geography I learned from Rome TW.

Can't wait for Rome II.
